Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, has invested over $3 billion in the social media platform Twitter.
Musk holds 9.2% of Twitter’s total stock. Musk has become Twitter’s major shareholder.
Following the announcement of Musk’s stock purchase, Twitter’s stock price jumped, bringing its total investment to $3.6 billion.
Musk has 80 million Twitter followers and is the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, an aerospace and telecommunication firm.
