Kathmandu, March 25
Pfizer vaccinations against the coronavirus have arrived in Kathmandu in a total of 761,000
doses.
Surendra Chaurasia, chief of the supply department under the Health Services Management
Division, stated that 761,000 Pfizer vaccinations arrived on Friday morning under the Covax
facility with the cooperation of the US government.
The US government has declared that 9.2 million pills will be distributed. "On Friday, the first shipment of immunizations arrived. ‘The rest will come in time,’ Chaurasia said. According to the department, another 800,000 Pfizer vaccines are scheduled to arrive on March 28.
Citizens above the age of 12 will be given the Pfizer vaccination. According to the most recent figures, there are 6 million vaccination doses in storage.
