Three casinos have been given a five-day deadline to pay Rs 900 million

Prem Ale, the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation have ordered the three casinos five days to pay Rs 900 million. After the casino operator failed to pay the arrears of royalty and renewal in the deadline set by the secretary-level decision, Ale issued the deadline.

The regular royalty and renewal for Fiscal Year 2076/77 are 905.57 million, according to the Department of Tourism. The department has issued a public notice today stating that Rock International Pvt. Ltd. owes Kathmandu Rs. 303.8 million and Happy Hour Kathmandu owes Kathmandu Rs. If the royalty and renewal arrears are not paid within five days, action will be taken.
