There are signs that peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, which are at odds, will be extended. An advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Ukrainian media that discussions might be extended.
In the negotiations, Russia has maintained its position. Issues including Ukrainian security,
Russian army withdrawal, and a ceasefire might take a long time to resolve.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Friday night that 69 Ukrainian military locations had been assaulted. The US has announced that the repair of 100 Russian aircraft will be prohibited.
Lloyd Austin, the commander of the Pentagon, has declared that he would not be personally involved in the conflict in Ukraine and that he will not construct a Russian anti-aircraft zone over Ukrainian airspace.
The international community has been putting pressure on Russia to halt its military actions in Ukraine. Following the Russian invasion, millions of Ukrainian refugees have fled to neighboring nations.
