The Citizen Savings Certificate 2083 ‘A’ has been issued by Nepal Rastra Bank. From Tuesday, one may apply for a 5-year citizen savings certificate with a 10% interest rate, according to the NRB.
Citizens of Nepal who are interested in purchasing savings certificates can apply. The deadline for applications is April 13. The sum to be withdrawn is Rs 2 billion, and the National Reserve Bank has declared that it will pay a 10% annual interest rate on it. In 6/6 months, the interest will be paid. A minimum amount of Rs. 10000 can be applied for in this savings certificate.
This savings certificate, which can only be obtained by Nepali citizens, can be borrowed/lent by pledging from other banks and financial organizations. The savings certificate’s principal payment will be payable on April 13, 2027.
