Nepse’s turnover was just $1 billion

Kathmandu, March 14

On Monday, the Nepse stock market index rose. The Nepse index climbed 0.15 points to
2668.11 points, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange. The index had risen by a maximum of 101 points the day before. However, Nepse broke again on the second day of the largest increase.

The Class-A Sensitive Index lost 0.05 points to 509.85. Banking, development banks, life
insurance, non-life insurance, others, and microfinance sub-indices have all gone positive, while all other sub-indices have turned negative, according to Nepse.

The transaction value has been stopped to Rs 1 billion in today’s market, which has climbed by only 0.15 points. Only 2.3 million shares worth Rs 1.34 billion were traded in the market, according to Nepse. The previous day’s turnover was Rs 4.87 billion, up 101 points from the previous day.
