The Maoist Center’s Central Committee meeting, which had been scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday after being postponed on Friday, has been postponed again till Monday.
The Maoist Center is attempting to mend gaps that arose after party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ openly challenged the view that parliamentary ratification of the US grant project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) was not necessary at the time.
The faction led by party leader Shrestha had on Friday put different views on the MCC’s passage in the parliament.
Meanwhile, Prachanda has already submitted a proposal for ratifying the MCC at Friday’s
meeting.
