LX Sculpture – Art exhibition

Which one of the fine arts is your favorite? Architecture, music, poetry or sculpture? This exhibition in the vibrant city of Guangzhou is going to suit you if you are a lover of fine art sculptures.

The exhibition is a solo show for the prominent Chinese sculptor Li Xiong. It shows the artist’s journey of self exploration toward getting a better understanding of the art of sculpture.

Along this creative journey, Li has come to believe that there is a set of processes to doing things and that logical considerations, understanding as well as the sensual experiences are all parts of the creative journey. Artists go through such processes to achieve a better understanding on what art is as both an individual and collective experience.

Li’s sculptures cover a wide range of topics such as animals, people, abstract spirits and values through portraying representative objects. He is also a keen adventurer in arts who is not afraid of experimenting with new materials and forms.
