Kathmandu, March 2
Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the leader of the CPN (Maoist Center), and Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav, the general secretary of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), met this morning.
During the discussion, NCP leader Biplav arrived at Shrestha’s residence in Hattiban this morning and called for unity among like-minded leaders on the issue of nationalism.
The meeting between Shrestha and Bipalav took place at a time when Maoist Center leaders, including Shrestha, have been deeply divided over the MCC issue.
