Kathmandu, February 25
Demonstrations also took place in Kathmandu on Friday in protest of the US aid project MCC agreement being tabled in Parliament.
The Nepal Intellectuals Association has staged a demonstration in the New Baneshwor area.
For the past week, sister organizations of political parties such as the CPN-Maoist Center and the CPN-Unified Socialist have been protesting against MCC in the Baneshwor area.
