Kathmandu, February 25
A Ukrainian island is occupied by Russian forces. Snake Island in the Black Sea has been taken, according to Ukraine’s Border Security Force.
‘Snake Island has been seized,’ the Border Security Force declared on Thursday. The army also claimed to have lost touch with Ukrainian troops stationed on the island, which is administered by Odesa.
According to reports in Western media, 13 Ukrainian border guards were slain during the
island’s capture.
