Kathmandu, February 22

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a complaint in a special court against four people, including the former Forest Officer and Assistant Forest Officer of the Bara District Forest Office.

District Forest Officer Bhairav Prasad Ghimire and Assistant District Forest Officer Bindeshwar Patel, Office Joint Accountant Janak Raj Joshi, and Chairman of Jagran Vikas Kendra have all been charged. Madan Prasad Jaiswar of Nepal’s Simraungadh-11 demanded Rs 360,000 each on Monday.

According to the authority, the Prime Minister’s Agriculture Modernization Project for Fiscal Year 2016/17 was allocated Rs. 360,000, but the trees were not planted as promised.
