A mom in Yantai, East China’s Shandong Province, was shocked while packing her daughter’s belongings for school and discovering that she had prepared more than 100 cosmetics to take with her.
A video featuring the mom showing a bed filled with cosmetic products trended on Sina Weibo on Sunday. The mom said on Friday that “there are more than 60 lipsticks, 20 bottles of foundation, more than 40 eyebrow pencils and many pairs of cosmetic contact lenses,” according to the video.
“My heart is about to explode! How many faces does she have?” said the mom.
As the video made the rounds on Weibo, many netizens also expressed their surprise and even jealousy by the large amount of cosmetics the student had.
“The woman’s daughter must be a beauty makeup blogger,” a netizen speculated, a comment that many others agreed with.
Some netizens said they were jealous that the student could enjoy making herself up with so many different cosmetics, while those who are no longer students had to simplify their beauty routines to save time so that they could go to work.
