Kathmandu, February 21
Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the awareness that the Maoist Center is the party fighting for the identity and rights of the Madhesi people has spread once again in Madhes.
He said this while admitting two dozen leaders and cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML at his residence in Khumaltar on Monday.
Chairman Prachanda also said that there was a wave of Maoists returning and entering the
center not only in Madhes but all over the country.
Among the entrants are CPN-UML leaders and activists including Kameshwor Prasad Sah Kanu, a ward chairman candidate and executive member of Molapur Municipality in Rautahat district.
Similarly, former teacher Jaya Raj Bhatt, businessman Bishnu Bhatt, and journalist Binod Prasad Bhatt are active in the Nepali Congress from the far west.
