Bhim Rawal, a CPN-UML MP, has expressed his opposition to the US assistance initiative being submitted to the house for MCC approval.
While the UML lawmakers were chanting slogans in the sitting of the parliament on Sunday,
Rawal took his time.
Stating that the MCC agreement would violate the constitution, law, and independent foreign policy, he said: “It is objectionable to hold such a table against the sentiments of the people when the main opposition is protesting on such issues and there is no consensus among the parties in the government”.
