An all-party meeting convened by Speaker Agni Sapkota has started at Singha Durbar. Apart from UML, leaders of political parties represented in the parliament are participating in the meeting.
Leaders include Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Chairman of the Unified Socialists Madhav Kumar Nepal, and Upendra Yadav of the JSP are also present at the meeting.
After the ruling coalition filed an impeachment motion against Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana, the speaker called an all-party meeting. The meeting is preparing to form an impeachment advisory committee.
