Diamond-embedded Bing Dwen Dwen debuts in C China’s Zhengzhou

A diamond-embedded Bing Dwen Dwen, the mascot of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic, on Monday showed up in an authorized merchandise store by Beijing 2022 committee in Zhengzhou, Central China’s Henan Province.

The fancy Bing Dwen Dwen was embedded with about 2,700 artificial diamonds over its body, which has a limited release volume of 2,022 units selling at 2,022 yuan ($317.94) each. The current exhibiting sample was the only one in China, and the diamond mascot will be opened to public sales three days later.

Beijing 2022 mascot Bing Dwen Dwen went viral overnight as the Winter Olympic kicked off in Beijing on February 4. The Beijing 2022 committee had to put in place a purchase limit to address the significant demand for various Bing Dwen Dwen related products while also promising that more products would hit the market soon.
