Five people have killed in a fire at a shoe and slipper store in Tulsipur, Dang district. A woman, two men, and two children have been killed in a fire that broke out in a four-storey house at Iram Footwear Shop at around 2.45 last night, police said.
The deceased has been identified as 13-year-old Sajit Khatun, 14-year-old Hassan Bakash, 15-year-old Masin Bakash, 40-year-old Nazardin Ali, and five-year-old Abid Din Ali.
The bodies of the deceased have been burnt. The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur. The injured are being treated at Rapti Provincial Hospital. The fire is now under control.
