CEO Kamu and Deputy CEO of Kumari Bank have resigned

Kathmandu, February 8

Kumari Bank’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Anuj Mani Timalsina and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Manish Timalsina have resigned. Both of them have taken voluntary retirement in consultation with the Board of Directors of the bank.

The Board of Directors had a few days ago introduced the Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) offer. Both of them have left the bank after a very good amount of money came to VRS. Kamu CEO Timilsana informed that he took leave from the bank as he liked the scheme.

After both Kamu CEO and Deputy CEO left the bank, the Board of Directors of the bank has
given the responsibility of Kamu CEO to Ram Chandra Khanal. Khanal, who was the chief
operating officer of the bank earlier, has been promoted to the post of Deputy Chief Executive Officer and given the responsibility of Kamu CEO. Khanal is an experienced and old banker with simple nature.
