The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has decided to administer second dose of Pfizer
vaccine from Monday to minimize the damage caused by corona infection.
As per the decision of the District Vaccination Coordinating Committee, Kathmandu, on Magh 20, the corporation has made arrangements to administer the second dose of Pfizer in 32 wards.
According to Balram Tripathi, chief of the health department of the Kathmandu Metropolitan
City, the second phase of Pfizer vaccination program is being conducted from 10 am to 4:00 am except Saturday.
As per the decision of the Vaccination Coordinating Committee, only children in the age group of 12 to 17 years who have completed 21 days of vaccination in the target group will be able to get the vaccine at the vaccination center in the respective schools specified by the ward. The Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation has already issued a notice to go to the nearest vaccination center with the first dose of vaccinated card.
