Kathmandu, January 23
It has become possible to pay fines by using the machine for violating traffic rules from all the seven traffic offices in Kathmandu Valley.
Senior Superintendent of Police Umesh Raj Joshi and Prabhu-Pay Chairman Kusum Lama jointly cut the ribbon and inaugurated the ‘Prabhu-Pay Kiosk Machine’ at the Metropolitan Traffic Police Complex Satdobato on Sunday.

Joshi said that the new technology has been extended to seven offices in collaboration with
Prabhu Bank with the objective of making it easier and easier for the vehicle users to get their documents back by paying fines for violating traffic rules.
He said, ”Now that the fine can be paid by depositing cash directly in the kiosk machine, there is no hassle of queuing at the bank.” This saves time and helps make the service more sophisticated and convenient. ‘
Earlier, this arrangement was implemented in the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division and from today, the subordinate Metropolitan Traffic Police Division Gaushala, Metropolitan Traffic Police Division Koteshwor, Metropolitan Traffic Police Division Gattaghar, Metropolitan Traffic Police Division Thapathali, Metropolitan Traffic Police Circle Maligaun and Metropolitan Traffic Police Division Durbar Marg have been expanded.
