More than a dozen new variants of Corona Omicron have been confirmed in Madhes. Vijay
Kumar Jha, director of the health directorate Madhesh, informed that Omicron has been
confirmed in 14 people in Madhesh Pradesh so far. He said that while testing 527 people in this state, omicron variant was found in 14 of them.
Corona infection rate has been increasing in Madhes for the last few days. Tests conducted at various laboratories in the state on Thursday showed corona infection in 207 people. At
present, there are 1,211 active corona infections in the state.
