Kathmandu, January 21
The Election Commission has revoked the registration of three political parties. The commission has stated that the registration of Nepal Yuva Kisan Party, 33-party front and Nepal Peace Zone Council has been revoked.
According to the commission, the three parties had not submitted their audit reports to the commission.
After not submitting the report, the commission had asked the public to pay a fine of Rs 20,000 within 30 days. The commission has stated that the party registration has been canceled due to non-payment of the fine.
The Nepal Yuva Kisan Party (NYKP) was registered with the commission on 2073 Mangsir 30, the 33-party front on 28 Ashar 2074 BS and the Nepal Peace Zone Council on Asar 30, 2074 BS.
