Kathmandu, January 21
The town of Yapiet in Ghana has been hit by a devastating explosion. The blast destroyed
several buildings.
The BBC quoted a local official as saying 17 bodies had been found at the scene. However,
police have not given any official information about the death toll.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in a city known as the Gold Mine. The bomber struck
shortly after noon in front of a car packed with explosives.
Pictures and videos made public by local media show dust and smoke billowing from the blast site. It is seen that those trapped in the rubble shouted for help.
