One of China’s largest home appliance manufacturers, Gree, located in Zhuhai, South China’s Guangdong Province, announced a pause in production from Monday to Tuesday, according to media reports on Monday.
Gree said the decision of the two-day pause was made in consideration of local quarantine policies. During the break, Gree may maintain limited manufacturing capacity according to the company’s emergency orders in the premise of pandemic control.
With six cases of COVID-19 reported on January 14 in Zhuhai, a total of 12 Omicron cases have been identified in the city as of Monday.
