As coronavirus infections have increased, the government has imposed restrictions. The Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMCC) has decided to make vaccination cards mandatory in public places from the time the school is closed till Magh 15.

School closed till 15th Magh

The CCMCC has decided to close basic and secondary schools till Magh 15 as the corona
infection has increased.

It has also requested the schools to give winter leave till January 3 and parents not to send their children to school. ”We have decided to extend the winter break in some schools till January 30, which is expected to break the chain of transition,” said CCMCC spokesperson Sunita Nepal.

It has also urged students between the ages of 12 and 17 and teachers, staff and parents above the age of 18 to be vaccinated even when the school is closed.

As per the decision of CCMCC, the pre-scheduled semester and annual examinations will not be stopped. However, adherence to public health standards will have to be examined on a day-to-day basis.

Call for no political program

The CCMCC has banned more than 25 people from gathering in public places. He also called for holding all kinds of political, administrative and social programs of the same nature. The local administration will give permission for regular programs that are not necessary. For this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to issue a circular to all local administrations.

Vaccine card mandatory

Similarly, vaccination card has been made mandatory for entry into public places from Magh 7. According to the decision, vaccination cards will now have to be shown for public offices, hotels and restaurants, cinema halls, theaters and domestic air travel.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as of Sunday, 111,34,698 people had been vaccinated in full, that is, both doses, while another 40 Lakh had received at least one dose.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has also been asked to make arrangements for flights to reduce the congestion of passengers at domestic and international airports.

The CCMCC has also decided to make the antigen test more effective at the Nepal entry point and to keep the positive ones in isolation centers including hotels and holding centers. It has also decided to set up free antigen test booths in public places and promote corona vaccination as a campaign.
