More than 4,400 flights cancelled worldwide due to Corona epidemic and bad weather

Corona epidemics and bad weather have led to the highest number of cancellations of flights to the United States so far.

More than 4,400 flights were cancelled worldwide yesterday alone. Of those, more than 2,500 flights were cancelled in the United States alone, according to FlightAware, an air traffic website.

Airlines have been short of staff since crew members have to stay in quarantine after encountering the infected corona.

In addition to passenger problems, heavy snowfall in Central America has also affected flights. More than 1,000 flights have been cancelled at Chicago, O’Hare and Midway airports alone.

According to the airlines, the flight had to be cancelled due to lack of staff due to Omicron infection and bad weather, especially snow.
