Kathmandu, December 29.
Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal, who is busy in political
meetings on a daily basis, has been entertained by the participants and spectators of
the program by waving his arms and dancing with his hips broken.
In a program organized at the National Assembly today for the incorporation of the
Communist Party of Nepal (Janabadi) into the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified
Socialist), all the guests in the guest gallery performed a collective dance against
regression. Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar
Shrestha presented his art skills while Nepal was accompanied by party propaganda
department chief Jagannath Khatiwada and politburo member Dilu Kumari Pant.
The cultural atmosphere was warmed up when all the guests accompanied the flexible
dance of Minister Shrestha, who is accustomed to folk singing. A total of 1,192
members of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party, including the 45-member Central
Committee of the Janabadi Party, joined the program.
Welcoming the leader of the Janabadi Party to the party, Chairman Nepal said that a
new party has been formed for the protection of people’s rights and nationality by
uniting like-minded communist parties as the achievements of one person’s autocracy
are in crisis with the end of one dynasty’s autocracy.
Stating that the collective determination of an honest and loyal person dedicated to
social development can bring about positive change in the society, he said, “If the idea
is right and the purpose is sacred, any resolution will be fulfilled.” Stating that the party’s role in the development of national politics has increased the attraction of people towards his party across the country and a new wave of party entry has started,
Chairman Nepal clarified that the party has strong organization in the far west and is
leading Bagmati and No. 1 state governments.
Challenging the CPN (Unified Socialist) not to underestimate anyone, Nepal said that
the youth should now take action against the existing anomalies and corrupt tendencies
in the society, guarantee good governance and lead the party by developing the
capacity to solve the overall problem. Pointing out the need to guide the whole country
in the right direction, Chairman Nepal stressed on the need to increase production
through entrepreneurship by developing socialism in the Nepali environment with the
prosperity of the people at the center.
Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Rajendra Pandey expressed the view that the CPN
(Janabadi), which was involved in the formation of the Revolutionary Communist Party,
would help in strengthening the party. He said that the political changes in the past have failed to improve the economic development and living standards of the people and now
these issues will be given priority in the policy making and action plan.
General Secretary of the party, Dr. Bedu Ram Bhusal, expressed his commitment to
unite the various leftist parties to reorganize the communist movement and transform
the country into a prosperous one. Leader of the CPN (Janabadi) DS Mahat expressed
the view that the leadership of the CPN (Unified Socialist) was immaculate as well as
nationalist and the lifestyle of most of the leaders was simple.
