On Tuesday, the Nepalese women’s volleyball team won the Asian Central Zone Volleyball
Challenge Cup for the second time.
The tournament’s defending champions are Nepal.
Nepal defeated Uzbekistan 3-2 in the final match of the latest edition, which took place this
afternoon in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Nepal had won the first, third, and fifth sets in the competitive match, while the opponents had won the remaining sets.
With four victories in a row, Nepal have advanced to the competition final. On Sunday, they
defeated Uzbekistan in straight sets of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-14 in the final match of the group stage.
