The general convention of the Maoist center will be extended

Kathmandu, December 28

The eighth national general convention of the CPN-Maoist is going to be extended. Leader
Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that the general convention scheduled from January 29 to 30 could not be completed on time.

He said that the General Convention would be extended as the delegates demanded time to
discuss the political report of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

‘Friends have demanded a discussion on the report. After the meeting of the standing
committee on Tuesday, Shrestha said.

A group discussion on Prachanda’s political report has been going on since Tuesday at the
Maoist General Convention.
