Kathmandu, December 27
On Monday, the second day of the week, the stock market fell by about 70 points. The Nepse
index closed down 2.69 percent at the close of trading after a day of sharp fluctuations.
The share turnover measure Nepse has dropped by 69.77 points to 2,521.65 points.
Despite the sharp fall in the Nepse index, there has been more excitement in trading than on
Sunday. A total of 12,92,226 shares have been bought and sold and the transaction amount has
reached Rs 5.60 billion.
Investors of Joshi Hydropower are among the biggest losers on Monday. The company's share
price has fallen more than 8 percent in a single day.
