Kathmandu, December 27.
The CPN (Maoist Center) has selected a seven-member presidium to conduct the closed session
of the General Convention. Maoist leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that the closed

According to him, the closed session has been delayed for some time due to the decision on
additional delegates. Initially it was said that there would be 1,631 delegates but now it has
increased to 1,700. The meeting of the standing committee had given the right to nominate 10
percent representatives to Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Giriraj Mani Pokhrel, Ganesh Shah, Rupa Maharjan, Parashuram
Ramtel, Parashuram Tamang and Purna Kumari Subedi are in the presidency. In the closed
