The Kamal Binayak-Nagarkot road construction project and construction company Shailung
Construction have committed to complete the construction of Bhaktapur-Nagarkot road, which has been neglected for the past eight years, by March 30.
In an interaction program organized by Changunarayan Municipality till Wednesday night to put pressure for speedy completion of road construction, project chief Gautam Shrestha, who is participating in the project on behalf of the project, expressed his commitment to complete the road construction within the seventh extended period.

Construction, admitted that there was a serious managerial weakness on the part of the
construction company and pledged to complete the construction without any delay. Another
representative from the company, Anup Adhikari, took responsibility for the delay in the
construction of the road and pledged to complete the construction and hand it over by March 30.
Although the municipality invited party chairpersons or representatives of all parties to the
program, no representatives of other parties except CPN (UML) and NCP came. UML District
Chairman Bachan Deuja, NCP's Member of the House Prem Suwal and NCP's District Chairman Nhuchche Bhakta Foju were present.
Assistant Chief District Officer Sita Pariyar instructed the contractor company to complete the work on time. On the occasion, UML Changunarayan Municipal Committee Vice-Chairman Jayaram Bastola, locals Suraj Bastola and others expressed their indignation over the construction company and demanded cancellation of the contract.
