A student living in the hostel of Kathmandu Model College (KMC) at Bagbazar in the
capital has died. Sushil Sahani, 18, who had gone to take a bath in the bathroom of the
hostel, was found unconscious by the staff of the hostel when he did not come out for a
long time.
He was admitted to Kathmandu Model Hospital for treatment on Monday afternoon.
Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Spokesperson (SP) Dinesh Raj Mainali said that he
died while undergoing treatment in the ICU of the hospital.
Sahani was studying in 11th class. Students are protesting saying that Sahani died due
to negligence of the hostel.
