The second meeting of the 10th session of the House of Representatives is being held
on Tuesday. Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has called a meeting of the House Business
Advisory Committee before the parliament meeting is scheduled for 1 pm. The meeting
will be held at 11:30 am at Shankar Hall, Parliament House, Naya Baneshwor.
Although the government is preparing to table the MCC in Tuesday’s meeting, MCC is
not on the possible agenda of the meeting. The main opposition party, the CPN-UML,
had blocked all sittings of the ninth session of parliament. They have decided to block
the meeting of the tenth convention. UML lawmakers had also chanted slogans in the
first meeting of the tenth session held on Mangsir 28.
