Sangraula’s lead in NC open women’s central member, Arju Rana third

Kathmandu, December 20

The counting of votes for the open women central member of the Nepali Congress is underway. Dr. Dila Sangraula has so far taken the lead with 1364 votes in the NC Central Office, Sanepa. Pushpa Bhusal is in the second place with 802 votes while she got 825 votes. Arju Rana Deuba, wife of Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, is in third place with 728 votes.

Ambika Basnet is in the fourth position with 658 votes while Ishwori Neupane is in the fifth
position with 640 votes. Sarita Prasai is sixth with 624 votes and Rama Koirala is seventh with 529 votes. Sushila Dhakal is fifth with 519 votes while Anita Devkota is eighth and ninth with 513 votes. Out of the nine winners of the open women’s central committee in the Nepali Congress, 30 are in the fray.
