Kathmandu: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has
inspected the Budhanilkantha School at Budhanilkantha in Kathmandu and got
information about the quality of quality and practical education being provided to
the students there.
After seeing greenery on the school premises, lots of tomato, apple, peach and
cardamom plants, Minister Poudel praised the school leadership, feeling as if he
had reached an agricultural farm.
At a time when the attraction of private schools is increasing, Budhanilkantha
Secondary School, a semi-government level residential school, which is constantly
working for education with skills, currently has 1,135 students from class 5 to
class 12. The school also teaches students agricultural skills in the evenings and
mornings at the school’s Karesabari.
Minister Poudel said that the school has imparted vital education to the students
with the slogan of ‘learning, teaching, enjoying and earning’. He said, “Work to
increase productivity and market it.”
