Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa has expressed the expectation that
party President Sher Bahadur Deuba would start the tradition of running the
party in a position and manner by assimilating the expectation of unity of
the people. Congratulating Deuba on his election as chairman from the
14th general convention, Thapa also expressed his commitment to work
together on the issue of party transformation. He congratulated Deuba on
social media on Wednesday morning.
‘Congratulations to Reverend Sher Bahadur Deuba on his election as
President. I hope that you will start the tradition of running the party in a
position and manner by assimilating the expectation of unity of the general
Congressmen. We will cooperate on the campaign for a prosperous Nepal
and on the issue of party transformation, 'Thapa wrote.
Young leader Thapa is the General Secretary candidate in the 14th
General Convention of the Nepali Congress. He has become a candidate
from the Dr. Shekhar Koirala panel.
