CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal have been on the same stage for a long time at the inauguration ceremony of the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.
Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Nepal along with Prachanda and Oli were also present at the inauguration ceremony held at Bhrikuti Mandap. Oli and Prachanda were not seen on the same platform after the dissolution of the House of Representatives for the first time on Push 5. Oli has appeared on the stage for the first time after the split with his former colleague Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Nepal has formed the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party by splitting the CPN-UML last Bhadra. Oli who has been calling Nepal’s party illegal, did not even invite Nepal to his party’s general convention.
Leaders including Upendra Yadav, chairperson of Janata Samajwadi Party, Mahantha Thakur, Chairperson of Lokatantrik Samajwadi Party, who has split from Janata Samajwadi Party, Rajendra Lingden , newly elected chairperson of RPP, CP Mainali, general secretary of CPN-ML and Durga Poudel, vice chairperson of Rastriya Janamorcha are participating in the convention.
