CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal has reiterated his candidacy for the post of chairmanship.
In the closed session that started at midnight, KP Sharma Oli, a member of the presidium, had nominated 301 central members for consensus.
But, Rawal said he disagreed with the whole process. He said that he wanted to party to be strong but the process adopted for the selection of leadership in the General Convention was not right.
“I disagree with the whole process and I will go to the election. I was also the vice president, now I am the presidential candidate. I accept what the delegates do,” he said.
