US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu, who is on visit to Nepal, has met CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. Assistant Foreign Minister Lu met Dahal at Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar on Thursday. US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry was also present.
According to the US Embassy in Nepal, Foreign Minister Lu also met CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli today. During the meeting, bilateral relations between Nepal and the United States were discussed. He arrived in Nepal on Wednesday for a two-day visit.
