The Jana Sangathan Jana Parichalan committee has been expanded to 234 members for the upcoming 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML. According to Khim Lal Bhattarai, coordinator of the committee, the committee has been expanded to include the chief office bearers of the party organization and leaders and cadres of special sectors.
The last central committee meeting of the CPN-UML had formed a committee under the original management committee under the coordination of leader Bhattarai. The committee will mobilize up to five lakh people to attend the inaugural session of the National General Convention to be held in Chitwan from Mangsir 10 to 13. UML has stated that it will select 1,999 representatives have been unanimously elected from most of the districts.
