China has provided 300,000 doses of anti-Covid vaccine to the Nepal Army. At a function held at the Army headquarters on Monday, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi handed over 300,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine to Chief of Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma.
China last week handed over an additional 1.6 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine to Nepal. So far, 3.4 million doses of vaccine have been donated from China, while 5.9 million doses have been purchased under Covax Cost Sharing.
