Guragain as General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport

Bhola Prasad Guragain has been appointed as the General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has appointed Guragai, who was the head of the Aviation Safety and Security Department, as the head of the airport.

The CAAN has transferred Pratap Babu Tiwari, general manager of the airport, as the head of the staff training academy. Dev Chandra Lal Karna, who is currently the head of the academy, has been brought to the authority. CAAN has stated that the change of responsibility will be implemented from today.

Raj Kumar Chhetri, who became the director general of CAAN a week ago, has manipulated responsibilities in various departments. Earlier, CAAN’s outgoing Director General Rajan Pokharel had transferred the staff while leaving the CAAN. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Kartik 9 had decided to appoint Chhetri as the Director General.
