Chairman of the ruling partner CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has expressed concern over the growing corruption in the country. Speaking at the first national meeting of the Socialist Engineering Association on Sunday, Chairman Nepal claimed that corruption was most prevalent under the KP Oli government.
He said, “When I became the Prime Minister of the country, I did not see that. Now I am sad to hear that, how corrupt our system has become. Others may have done a little, but in the time of KP, corruption has crossed the line. This country has fallen into the hands of such scoundrels.”
Chairman Nepal said that there was talk of constructing a helipad even at the Rastrapati Bhawan and expressed his opposition to the construction of a helipad. He said that a grand campaign should be started from the social sector to build the country.
