Ambassador recommendation for three countries

The government has recommended ambassadors for the three countries. The cabinet meeting on Thursday decided to recommend Shankar Sharma for India, Shridhar Khatri for the United States and Gyan Chandra Acharya for the United Kingdom.

Sharma is a former US ambassador, while Acharya was a former foreign secretary and head of the New York-based mission to the United Nations. Professor Khatri was a former executive director of the Institute for the Study of Foreign Affairs and the Center for Nepal and Asian Studies.
