Newly appointed Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Rajendra Pandey has taken oath of office and secrecy. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by state chef Yadav Chandra Sharma on Thursday.
After Ashtalaxmi Shakya resigned from the post of Chief Minister, Pandey had submitted his demand to the Chief Minister with the support of the majority members of the state assembly.
Krishna Lal Bhadel from the Nepali Congress (NC), Kumari Moktan from the CPN (Maoist Center) and Krishna Prasad Sharma from the CPN (Unified Socialist) have been sworn in as ministers. Moktan has been given the ministry of social development, Khanal the ministry of economic affairs and planning and Bhadel the ministry of physical infrastructure.
