The newly formed CPN-Unified Socialist has made Jhala Nath Khanal a respected leader. The party, which had earlier called Khanal a senior leader, has given him the status of a respected leader in the recently issued inter-party directive.
Khanal is in charge of the foreign affairs department in the division of labour, following the inter-party directive issued by party president Madhav Kumar Nepal.
