CPN (UML) has decided not to have more than 15 members. Responding to suggestions from various groups during the ongoing Legislative General Convention in Lalitpur, Deputy Secretary General Bishnu Poudel informed that the number of office bearers has been fixed at 15.
According to Poudel, the UML will now have a 15-member office including a chairman, a general secretary, five vice-chairman including seniors, one deputy general secretary and seven secretaries.
Poudel said that suggestions were received from one to nine vice-presidents including the senior vice-president. He said that it has been suggested to have two to three people in the Deputy General Secretary. Similarly, Poudel said that the same number has been maintained considering the suggestions from all groups to have seven people in the secretary.
