The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has stressed on the need to remove the quarantine requirement for foreign tourists who have received full dose of vaccine against Covid-19 and have negative PCR report.
Stating that there is a need for facilitation in the arrival of tourists in Nepal, the confederation stressed on the need to make arrangements for those who have been fully vaccinated and have a PCR negative report not to be quarantined, Karobar Online reported.
Forming a tourism committee for the development and promotion of the tourism sector in Nepal, the confederation has stressed on the need to cooperate with the concerned bodies for the speedy revival of the sector.
The first meeting of the committee formed under the chairpersonship of National Council Member Pampha Dhamala has also decided to demand the government to provide full vaccination to all the businessmen and workers active in the tourism sector.
Similarly, the meeting also decided to take initiative to provide on-arrival visa to the tourists who want to come to Nepal and to remove it as various countries are still on the list of risky countries for visiting Nepal.
